Designer Solutions was created by me, Stephany Lykkegaard, in November 2007. The idea came from a cluttered refrigerator door! That's right, I looked at my fridge and thought "There has to be a better way to display the pictures of my family and friends." I thought of bulletin boards - no, the pins make holes in all of the pictures and that is no good. I thought of the display boards with ribbon - no, they still look very cluttered and are kind of dated. Maybe a collage frame - no, too hard to change the pictures quickly. Then I thought of a magnet board and knew that was the solution. However, when I started to look for one, the selection was very limited. They all looked very industrial or were made of cheap materials. I decided to make an attractive magnet board with a beautiful frame so it would look like artwork on the wall. When I was done, I knew I had to share this idea with others and 'Designers Solutions' was born.
